Miracles Of A Second Chance
Christian Faith Based Treatment Center
Nurturing Faith, Empowering Women, Reclaiming Lives
Are you or a loved one searching for a substance use treatment program, but lack information on how to find the right one? Have you started the recovery process in the past but dropped out before completion due to relapse, fear of judgment, or inability to afford treatment?
Did the program fail to address your co-occurring mood disorder, such as depression, anxiety, or schizophrenia to name a few?
Maybe you’ve given up hope; falsely believing it is too late for you to get clean because you think you are too far gone or you’ve made unforgivable mistakes, bad decisions, and have caused irreparable damage to your relationships and career.
Please listen. It is NOT too late. In fact, if you have read this far, you’re right on time because it means you are open to hearing more about how to make a lasting change in your life.
Several popular, faith-based treatment programs have proven to be effective in the fight against addiction. However, some of them stop short of embracing the fully religious proclamation that there is only one God, and he reigns supreme.
Miracles Of A Second Chance has no such reservations. We step up proudly and courageously to embrace the full power of God’s healing. We share the life- changing messages of the Bible with our residents because we have seen His miracles firsthand.
We are a residential Faith-Based Drug and Alcohol Treatment program but that does not mean we forego established, science supported treatment methods. Our facility provides a safe, clean, home-like environment designed to house nine women at a time.
While in our care your doctors, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, an emergency medical technician, Christian counselors, and behavioral health technicians work together to supervise your treatment and deliver whole-health care, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
We address every aspect of your recovery needs; spiritual, physical, behavioral, and emotional. You will receive case management, peer support, educational instruction, and employment opportunities offered by our job partnership program.
Our facility in beautiful Bisbee, Arizona provides a serene backdrop for healing. We offer therapeutic activities like dance and art therapy, faith-based movie nights, weekly church meetings, park outings, even Xeriscaping gardening specifically designed for our abundant sunshine and arid conditions.
Our goal is to help you heal, maintain sobriety, and thrive. We want to help you build a brighter future beyond addiction.
It is not too late. In fact, you’re right on time.
Experience holistic care and transformative support where recovery

We are here for you.
We strive to guide each individual, their family, and the community throughout the recovery process.
We insist on showing women how to walk with integrity and grace. Our program is structured to promote peer accountability, the importance of spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health & well-being, living life on life’s terms, and showing women there is a life outside of drugs and alcohol…and they are worth it!
PURPOSE & PHILOSOPHY
The women in our recovery home have recently been incarcerated, are homeless, abused, or are chemically dependent. The residents will attend a variety of groups/classes which are designed to promote success, life skills, nutrition, parenting classes, art therapy, and prevention of relapse, as well as finding a 12-step program and/or a recovery-based model that best suits their specific cultural needs.
Residents are also encouraged to attend a church and recovery group meetings outside the sober living home with the supervision of staff. We provide a stable environment safe from drugs and alcohol, a daily recovery model to assist individuals in achieving long-term sobriety and independent living, as well as, utilizing best practices and faith-based principles to heal an individual’s addiction.
We understand that addiction is both -chronic and progressive- and impacts not only the addict or alcoholic but every aspect of their life. We consider recovery to be a choice and we challenge individuals to “choose recovery just for today” as an alternative to incarceration, institutions, or ultimately death. We strive to guide each individual, their family, and the community throughout the recovery process with the goal of living abundant lives- free from addiction.

Her experience includes Cardiac/Pulmonary Stepdown Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and House Supervisor of the Hospital. She gave her life to Christ at a young age and was baptized on July 27, 1996, at the age of 20. During that time, I’ve moved around and gained experience in different medical and psychiatric facilities, including Palominas Fire Department as an EMT/Firefighter.
I’m proud to say that I have always and continue to live my life according to the following values: I’m pretty much black and white, I don’t see too much gray. I think it’s important to protect others. I don’t mind hard work. At the same time, I make sure to put God first in all I do and live to enjoy life. Life’s too short not to.
I’m excited for what God has in store for our team and the women that will be residing at Miracles Of A Second Chance, INC when we’re able to open our doors.”

Case Manager and Transitional Trainer
Born and raised in East County, San Diego, CA, Joelle moved to Sierra Vista, AZ in 2007. Marriage and family soon followed and continues to grow today. The initial adjustment from big city to small town was challenging for her, but today there is no place she’d rather be. She has a lifelong love of art, but a renewed sense of artistic inspiration flourished from being surrounded by the open desert landscapes, beautiful sunsets, and unique and colorful critters that are the hallmarks of Arizona. A multi-talented creator, she enjoys painting, crafting, quilting and fabric art.
It was love at first sight when Joelle rode out of the Mule Pass Tunnel in Bisbee on the back of a Harley. From that moment, she knew she would one day cruise on the back of that bike in her wedding dress. In 2010, the city granted a special allowance for her to get on the back of that same Harley sans boots and pants; instead, donning her wedding dress and high heels while holding on tightly to her new husband. The trip was short yet unforgettable for all in attendance. From St. Patrick’s Catholic Church to the Rose Johnson mural at the Jonquil Motel, then back to the Bisbee Grand where family and friends were waiting to celebrate. The exciting ride, though brief, launched a lifetime of matrimonial love and commitment.
Professionally, Mrs. Landers has followed a winding path of positions in administration, finance and human resources which led her to an unexpected opportunity with the City of Bisbee as Personnel Director in 2019. Having found her place in this culturally thriving town, she earned her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Joelle realized her calling and fulfilled a dream beyond her expectations. She plans to share her love for art by hosting weekly art therapy sessions with the women in residence at Miracles of a Second Chance. Additionally, she will review and practice resume writing, job application, and interview skills with the women, focused on empowering them with confidence and pride in themselves. Joelle considers the opportunity to serve in this role a true blessing.
Reverend Dr. Willie L. Coleman, Sr., is the Pastor of Victory Christian Church, Sierra Vista, AZ. Dr. Coleman has served as the Vice-Moderator and Moderator of the Southern District Association of the Paradise Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arizona. Furthermore, he has instructed courses for the Purpose Institute and Discipleship Center sponsored by Oral Roberts University. He is a twenty-two-year veteran of the U.S. Army.
Dr. Coleman earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix and holds a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from Newburgh Theological Seminary and College of the Bible. He and the love of his life Shirley have been married for 45 years. They have two children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Jack Rosoff was born in New York City. He grew up in an area of violence, gambling, drugs, and prostitution. His closest friends engaged in all of the above. Some still do. His first job was as a janitor for the YMCA, and he has been nearly a lifelong member since. He credits exercise and employment as his lifesavers, allowing him to feed and house his family and friends.
After obtaining his GED, Jack attended community college before graduating from Portland State University in Portland Oregon in 1981. His next professional milestone came when he graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont in 1986. He completed four years of General Surgery during which time he began practicing Emergency Medicine. He became a staff member at Copper Queen Community Hospital in Bisbee, Arizona more than ten years ago and says that he is grateful beyond words to be part of that community.
In an interview with the Herald Review, Dr. Rosoff stated that he decided to pursue a career as a physician, with the intention of helping those who needed the most help. He continued, “With that in mind, I’ve spent the last 37 years working as an ER doctor across the U.S., including the Veterans Administration and in rural hospitals.
“Recently, as the situation in Ukraine became increasingly desperate, I decided to travel solo to Ukraine and offer whatever help I could”, Dr. Rosoff states. He shared his plans with his adult children and friends. They were understandably worried but were fully supportive. Given Jack’s adventurous nature and his commitment to service, they knew they could not stop him from going.
Compassion is indispensable in efforts to support the vulnerable, less fortunate, and mistreated in our society, It is the essence of empathy and kindness. Jack’s training in providing care to those in a state of urgent need was a significant catalyst behind his trip to Ukraine. However, he was also drawn there by a desire to help those in the war-torn homeland of his family.
Though Jack was born in the United States, his grandfather and his five brothers — all orphans — immigrated from the Ukraine-Belarus region to the United States. It was a time of upheaval in the early 20th century. Jews like his grandfather and great-uncles were persecuted under absolute Russian rule. And so, they left. In the United States, they worked hard, learned English, practiced their faith freely, and found success. One great uncle, Max Rosoff, founded Rosoff’s Restaurant, a famous Times Square restaurant.
Upon arrival in Ukraine, Jack was immediately struck by the plight of children — the abandoned, orphaned, and disabled. They won his heart to the extent he wants to return to start an orphanage. He spent what money he had on food, clothing, and books for the children which he read to them. Many young people in the area have problems with drugs due to poverty, boredom, and frustration from a lack of jobs in the region. He managed to help one teenager get off of methamphetamine.
During his trip, Jack secured a one-acre plot of unfarmed land overlooking the Boh River, which is 20 km outside of Vinnytsia. Dr. Rosoff, in partnership with a few of his like-minded relatives, colleagues, and supporters, plans to develop the land into a retreat center. He and a group of five English-speaking locals in Vinnytsia are developing an English language learning program for children who are eager to learn the language.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise money for a new home in Vinnytsia. “The goal is to create an opportunity for kids to learn safely in a time of war. To give them a place to be themselves, a haven in a war zone. I only want them to have better opportunities like my grandfather and his brothers gained here in the U.S.”, says Jack. he continues, “The war has upended the lives of all the citizens, but not their conviction to remain an independent country.”
On behalf of the youngest residents, Dr. Rosoff encourages his supporters to join him in creating the beautiful haven that these kids deserve. Miracles Of A Second Chance believes in his efforts. We feel beyond blessed that he has decided to lend his expertise and compassionate spirit to our mission of helping women recover from drug and alcohol addiction and reclaim their lives.

Norma plans to open another store and a blog centered on helping people with mental health struggles who have retreated from society but still need to earn an income.
“My business will focus on providing them with information on how to work from home, finding legitimate opportunities, offering encouragement, and keeping them up to date on the many professional, affordable options available to get help and healing.
Depression and anxiety lie to us and steal from us, making us believe we have no value. That we don’t matter and that there is no place for us in the workforce. I understand that feeling. They may have lost sight of how talented they are. Their ideas, expertise, and desire to help others and be independent; all of it is still very much alive within them. I want to take them on the daily journey with me to practice Faith Over Fear”.
Norma is also a successful freelance Business to Consumer (B2C) copywriter and copyeditor – which she enjoys immensely- offering her services to clients far and wide, including Miracles Of A Second Chance, INC in Arizona. She helps small to mid-sized business owners and nonprofit organizations succeed by showing them how to improve their marketing and gain more organic traffic to their websites with budget-friendly solutions. She has recently expanded her services to include grant consultation and grant writing.

“My faith in God is the foundation of my life and the source of my strength. He has blessed me with many opportunities to serve others and to grow as a person. I am passionate about the mission of Miracles Of A Second Chance, INC, and I look forward to adding any valuable contribution I can to this amazing organization.”
